What does North Star Scientific do?

North Star Scientific runs outsourced commercial teams for life science brands. We handle lead generation, senior sales, and in-person trade show representation across the US and Canada. Brands hire us when they need commercial reach without the cost or ramp time of an in-house sales team.

Who do you work with?

We work with life science, diagnostic, biotech, pharma, CRO, and CDMO brands. Our partners range from early-stage clinical-trial software companies to established protein and antibody suppliers. Most of our clients are small to mid-sized brands selling into research labs, pharma, hospitals, or biotech end users in North America.

What services do you offer?

Three things, and we offer them as a stack or à la carte. First, AI-personalized multi-channel outreach across email, LinkedIn, voice notes, and phone. Second, senior sales execution — our team holds real conversations with cardiologists, CRO ops directors, and bioanalytical scientists, and closes deals. Third, in-person field representation at major life science trade shows. No other outsourced agency offers all three.

Do you actually attend trade shows in person?

Yes. We've represented brands at BiotechConnect Toronto and Montreal (MaRS Discovery District), and BVS Connection in the Boston area. Partners we've covered include Exreprotein, Isolere Bio, Mabtech, AlphaThera, Labskin, AffinityImmuno, Atelerix, and Conigen. What does your typical engagement look like?

Most engagements start with a discovery call to understand what you're selling and who you're trying to reach. From there, we put together a plan covering target accounts, messaging, channels, and trade show coverage if relevant. Engagements are typically multi-month and structured as a monthly retainer. We're not a one-off project shop — sales takes time to compound.

What life science segments do you cover?

We cover diagnostics, predictive genetics, antibody and protein supply, ELISA kits and immunoassays, preclinical CRO services (including CNS and safety pharmacology), clinical trial software, and lab equipment and chemicals distribution. If your buyer is a scientist, clinician, lab director, or commercial leader at a life science company, we can probably reach them.

Where are you based and where do you operate?

North Star Scientific is headquartered in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, and operates across the United States and Canada. Founder Pat Téa runs the business and personally joins customer calls and travels to trade shows. The team includes senior sales partners with decades of life science commercial experience and account specialists who own first-touch conversion.
